We know next to nothing about Red Dead Redemption 2. But in spite of that it has to be among the most highly anticipated games of 2018. That speaks to the popularity of both its predecessor and to Rockstar. And though there’s a general sense of trust among the audiences that the famous developers will deliver a truly memorable experience. There are certain things we’re hoping that they’ll include in the game.
So today we will talk about 5 Things We Want To See In Red Dead Redemption 2.
5 Things We Want To See In Red Dead Redemption 2
5. A BRANCHING STORY
Red Dead Redemption has a great many things going for it, all of which came together to make what was probably one of the best games of the last generation. Chief among these things had to be the game’s excellent narrative and while we’re fairly confident that Red Dead Redemption 2 will deliver on that front as well. Perhaps there are ways to make the game’s story even more engaging. Of course we’re not asking for something along the lines of say The Witcher 3. But having a story that plays out differently based on how you play the game would be a very welcome addition.
4. CHOICE AND CONSEQUENCE
Having a branching story of course means that the game will have to put at least some emphasis on player choice. A lot of games in this day and age attempt to do that but ultimately end with nothing more than the mirror illusion of choice. It doesn’t really matter just how many instances of branching storylines that Red Dead Redemption 2 presents players with. What really matters is that all the choices players make actually have some weight and actual consequences if such a feature is indeed included in game of course.
3. ZOMBIES MODE
Undead Nightmare, Red Dead Redemption standalone DLC pack was perhaps almost as good as the main game itself. Rather than just putting players in a mode where they have to face off against wave upon wave of zombies like other games do. Undead nightmare was an entire alternate story in and of itself. A complete lengthy campaign with a heart and personality of it’s own. We’re hoping that Rockstar will have something similar in store for us. Maybe even a sequel to that alternate story one can always hope.
2. BATTLE ROYALE MODE
Battle Royale mode have been a thing for a long time. But with the emergence of Player Unknown Battlegrounds and all the other games, its popularity has spawned the concept has become something of a trend lately. We already know that Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to have an online mode. Just like Grand Theft Auto 5 did. But maybe Rockstar should try something different this time around. A battle royale mode set in the world of Red Dead Redemption complete with all its hijinks and individual gameplay works such as Mexican Standoffs could make for an excellent experience.
1. CAMPAIGN CO-OP
Robbing trains and banks and leading raids on unsuspected towns and villages will all be a blast in this game. But it’ll be even better if the game lets you do that with a friend as well. Having Co-Op in campaign is hardly a prerequisite for games these days. Especially ones such as Red Dead Redemption. But we’re hoping that the feature will be included in the game. It would definitely be an added bonus.
That wraps up 5 Things We Want To See In Red Dead Redemption 2.
